Oncolytic virotherapy is unique cancer treatment using a special virus that finds and destroys malignant cells in the human body. It's safe and effective cancer treatment, which improves time to progression, survival and quality of life of cancer patients.

Oncolytic virus finds and selectively infects tumour cells. Then replicates in tumour cells and destroys them. Both of these processes, oncotropism and oncolysis, are selective for tumour cells and normal healthy cells are minimally if at all affected. Besides destroying of cancer cells, oncolytic virus initiates activation of the immune system.
